Birmingham is the second largest city in the UK, so it should come as no surprise that it is home to some of the best pubs, bars and clubs. If you are looking for a place to party, Birmingham is the city for you. In this article we explore the bustling nightlife Birmingham has to offer.
Nightlife Birmingham: Clubs
Brummies know how to party so there is no shortage of nightclubs and bars to get your boogie on. Whether you like pop music, techno or drum and bass, you can visit Birmingham knowing you will find a club to suit your music taste.
Rosies
One of our favourite spots for nightlife Birmingham has on offer is Rosie’s, the No.1 nightlife venue in the city with 5 themed rooms to suit all music tastes. Some of the rooms include a retro room, an asian inspired room with oriental cocktails, a vault room with urban vibes and Rosie’s laundry which includes a secret bra.
Chinawhite
If you are looking for a nightclub with a luxe feel and higher end experience, Chinawhite is the place for you. With different clubs located throughout the UK’s big cities, Chinawhite is popular with celebrities, influencers and us civilians alike. Only a short walk from Birmingham New Street, this central location makes this club very popular so be prepared to queue to get in.
Lab11
If dressing up to the nines and splashing the cash on cocktails is not your vibe and you’d rather get down and dirty on the dance floor then we have you covered. One of our personal favourite nights out is in Digbeth, an area of converted warehouse spaces, rooftop dancefloors and funky outdoor spaces. Lab 11 is a complex but exciting club voted the UKs best club venue. They tend to host different events so be sure to check what they have on and get your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
Mama Roux
Also located in Digbeth is Mama Rouz, a truly electinightspot with live music, entertainers and BBQ food. It’s normally free entry and a guaranteed good night so be prepared to queue if you get there later than 10pm on a weekend.
Snobs
When we said Birmimngham offers an array of music to suit each and every taste, we weren’t lying. One club that offers alternative tunes is Snobs, which has been around for years. So if you prefer a more indie/ rock scene, this is the perfect nightclub for you.
Overview of nightlife Birmingham
With the city of Birmingham being split into different areas, we would recommend planning your night out in advance. If your style is high heels to match a high end nightclub, we recommend staying around the centre of town and broad street. If you prefer live DJs spinning techno tracks, head down to Digbeth. Finally, if you prefer a more chilled nightlife with a focus on bars, we recommend visiting The Mailbox and Brindley Place.
